Willard Holliday has been preaching for 43 years. He is a Texas
original! Before returning to Texas he preached in Oklahoma,
Nebraska, Arkansas, Illinois, Idaho, West Virginia and
Alaska. He has worked with the Prison Ministries, Drug
Rehabilitation Centers, as well as AA and NA organizations. He

Charles Shafer has written two books about him and his brother Bill
growing up and living in their world—Northeast Texas in the 1940’s
and 50’s. He captures the magic and joy of being a kid in Winfield,
Texas. This first book, The View from the Chinaberry Tree: Coming
of Age in Winfield, Texas, is still available. His second book, The
View from the Chinaberry Tree: Same Song, Second Verse, not only
examines the views of the child but the adult as
well.

Linda Jaeger has a fantastic and moving story of her terrible car
wreck at 24 years old, that left her in a coma for 2 weeks. She had a
visit to heaven and this book describes the love and faith she felt
as her spirit left her body. When she woke again in the hospital
she was paralyzed and couldn’t talk or move. Follow her wonderful
and scary struggle to regain her speech and all movements of her
body. She is a faithful Christian and her story will make you cry and
cheer. Her book Breathing Good’s Love will be released soon.

Valory Elliott: My husband James and I live in a rural area of
Grapeland, Texas. We have four grown children and six
grandchildren. I am a retired nurse after a very rewarding career
for the past forty-four years. As a retiree, I am finding more time for
doing the things I like such as caring for my parents, writing,
painting, singing karaoke with family and friends, and taking care
of my little dog Lola and cat Prancer.
Her first novel is Act of Honor. Her second novel is Act of Revenge.

Dr. Kelle Hein just received his Dr. of Ministry from Landmark
Baptist Theological Seminary Fort Worth, Texas. He and his wife
and spreading the word. His thesis was turned into his first book
and published as What’s The Bible Got To Do With it?
The book is the easiest way to understand the Bible. The chapters

Dr. Jerry Hopkins, a professor of history and a long-time pastor,
has training in history, theology, political science and religious
studies. He began teaching at Eastern Kentucky University as a
grader/teacher assistant in 1968. He continued as a teaching
assistant at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; as a
teaching assistant and instructor at the University of Kentucky;
as an adjunct professor in supervised ministries at Asbury
Theological Seminary as a professor of history and religion at
Mid-Continent Baptist College; as an administrator and instructor
at Panola Colleges; and now as a professor of history at East
Texas Baptist University. His book is A Growing Adventure A

Kelsey M. Jackson is a senior in high school in Marshall Texas
she received the Dr. Martin Luther King Humanitarian Award for
your work and service to her community. Kelsey takes her
motivation from many struggles with school life, and
conversations with her grandmother. Her book Essence A
Collection of Poetry represents the experiences that come with
being a teenager. She is writing more poetry for her next book.
